Morning Surgery - Open Access
The Practice provides an Open Access surgery every weekday morning between 9-10am for acute problems and an appointment is not necessary. There are also some pre-bookable appointment most mornings.
If the surgery is busy you should be prepared to wait to see the doctor as patients are seen in order of arrival.
If another patient appears to have been seen before you they will be seeing a different doctor/nurse to you.
We will try to ensure you see a doctor of your choice but this may not always be possible.
Please note that in the Open Access surgery the doctors cannot complete claim forms or perform non-NHS medicals. You will need to contact a doctor to arrange a time for non-NHS medicals.
Afternoon Surgery - ALL Pre-booked Appointments
Speak to a receptionist to arrange routine appointments with the doctor or nurse. You can also book online. See SystemOnline Access for more information.
We advise patients to see the same doctor for the same condition wherever possible.
Routine appointments can usually be booked 4-6 weeks in advance and we will always endeavour to ensure that you see the doctor of your choice. However, if a doctor is on annual leave, surgeries may change and you may be asked to see an alternative doctor or a locum doctor.
Please do not ring between 9-11.30am to book a routine appointment as this prevents more urgent calls from reaching us.
