Period Delay Medication

We are committed to prioritising appointments for medical issues that require a GP or Nurse. We have seen a growing number of requests for GP consultations to avoid periods for holidays or special events. Therefore, we are no longer issuing prescriptions for period delay medications for non-medical reasons.

Patients wishing to delay their period can access medication directly through their local pharmacy or via an online pharmacy. A pharmacist can provide advice and issue the appropriate medication if they consider it safe.
