Travel vaccines free on NHS
Some travel vaccines are free on the NHS to reduce the risk of certain infections being brought back into the country and leading to wider spread.
You can book for these vaccinations at Farrow Medical Centre but you must book a routine appointment 6 to 8 weeks prior to travel. We do not offer an urgent travel vaccination service.
- Cholera
- Polio (mainly given as combined tetanus-diphtheria-polio vaccine)
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid
Vaccines not available on the NHS just for the purposes of travel
- Hepatitis B
- Rabies
- BCG
- Meningitis ACWY
- Japanese encephalitis
- Yellow fever
- Tick-borne encephalitis
Farrow Medical Centre does not currently provide a Travel Clinic service.
If you contact our reception staff they can inform you of local Travel Clinic providers.
