Reasons not to miss appointment poster

We have had a significant number of patients not attending for booked appointments with our doctors and nurses. I am sure you aware of the government targets for increasing face to face appointments with patients and also the coverage in the media demanding doctors see more patients face to face.

As a practice we are basing offering face to face appointments on clinical need and patient choice. Please be aware that if you make an appointment face to face and do not attend you are depriving other patients in need of that appointment. If you are unable to attend for a booked appointment please let us know as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel a booked appointment please call the usual surgery number and press option 2 to leave a message.
