This Practice operates a ‘zero tolerance’ policy with regards to violence and abuse directed towards our staff, patients and other persons. We reserve the right to remove violent/verbally aggressive patients from our list with immediate effect in order to safeguard their well-being. Violence in this context includes actual or threatened physical violence or verbal abuse which leads to fear for a person’s safety or makes staff feel uncomfortable and vulnerable.
It is the policy of the Practice to provide patients with a chaperone during certain examinations and procedures.
If you would like a chaperone to be present during the consultation, please speak to the attending clinician and a chaperone will be made available to you.
